A LOOK INSIDE THE MEMORY OF A MASTER

EXPO-SALE FOR THE 50 YEAR CAREER OF LOUIS TREMBLAY

September 1st at 16:00

On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of his prolific career as a painter, Louis Tremblay will receive a special tribute at the Iris Art Gallery. Our gallery from the very start and is still after more than thirty years privileged to expose this great artist.

Louis Tremblay was born in 1949 in Baie-Saint-Paul. It is in Charlevoix and then everywhere else that our painter made a name for himself very early on. He is inspired by Richard, Gagnon, Fortin and other landscapers of the "Group of Seven". Like these great masters, it is the infinite beauties of landscapes, these inspiring places that have led Tremblay to be at the top of his game and has made his name famous throughout North America.

Over the course of his career, our artist garnered the honors and recognition of his peers, critics and high officials of the medal of the National Assembly of Quebec. Note his remarkable participation in the group of painters of Norditude alongside Bruno Côté (1940-2010), Jacques Hébert, Paul Tex Lecor (1933-2017), Marcel Fecteau and St-Gilles.
