Michel LeRoux was born in 1950 in a family environment where creativity was a means of expression and sustenance. A mature artist, he lives in perfect symbiosis with nature. Canvas after canvas, he intensely recreates the magnificence of the natural world.
Michel Leroux is a voluble and dynamic man. A man of forest, sea and rivers. He says it himself with a smile: '’Sap, salt water and fresh water circulate in my veins. I grew up among the trees, and what they give me through childhood will persist all my life. Nature is my anchor. It's up to me to do my best to pay tribute to it! I therefore inherit a search for life through which I will always try to grasp the elusive, to express the inexpressible and to paint the non-apparent.¨
Since its beginnings in 1980, collectors have followed his approach step by step: an unceasing renewal in line with his previous periods of pictorial production. A logical sequel free of categorical breaks and imbued with an unconditional love for nature.
Today, the works of the painter Michel LeRoux can be found around the world as well as in the major private and public collections of Canada and the United States.
