Sarah Fecteau was born in 1983 in Thetford Mines. Very young, she adores drawing and already has an eye for detail. She draws her inspiration from all living things. For Sarah, anything that gives off an emotion gives birth to an idea that she infuses with her own vision in scenes tinged with romanticism, sensuality, happiness and natural simplicity.
From the age of 19, she devoted herself to her passion full time and quickly won the hearts of art lovers. She entered the art market by winning countless “Audience Awards” across Quebec and appears in several Canadian art magazines and galleries. The jury of the National Society of Fine Arts even awarded him a special prize during the exhibition at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris in 2009. Self-taught artist, endowed with a perfectionist personality, she walks several years with a realistic style that characterizes her work. Her tastes are refined, she enjoys working with beauty and light and never stops perfecting her technique, which she has taken a long time to develop. Her style is constantly evolving, now directing her to a more contemporary imprint. While keeping her subjects realistic, her works are adorned with colorful and vibrant touches featuring the animals she loves so much.
Still as passionate as when she started out, she explores different mediums and develops new techniques that she painstakingly perfects. A hard worker, she does not count the hours dedicated to her art and thus continues to broaden her horizons. She expresses herself more freely with movement, texture and a vibrant color palette.
