A Quebec painter and collage artist with nearly 20 years of artistic practice, Adèle Blais uses a unique and distinctive creative technique, primarily using acrylics and various collage materials. Depicting predominantly female figures, Blais focuses her approach on gender equality issues and aims to rehabilitate the contribution of women in history by highlighting little-known careers.
Since its inception, his work has been the subject of several projects and publications, and the majority of his works are now featured in private collections. His work has also been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions, and his pictorial approach is one of the suggestions of the national RÉCIT service of the Arts Domain (Ministry of Education). His work has been exhibited in Hong Kong, London, Stockholm, New York, San Francisco, Miami, New Orleans, Houston, Toronto, Montreal, and Sherbrooke, among other places.
Adèle Blais was born on August 9, 1976 in Montreal. She lives and works in Sherbrooke.
