Collection: Janusc Migacz
In 1986, Migacz moved to London, where he observed and studied the paintings of the great masters, such as Rembrandt, exhibited at the National Gallery. He then moved to Quebec in 1988, where he quickly became a success among art lovers.
"I have a preference for bodies in motion, those that articulate themselves according to figures developed for dance, for example." Migacz explores the world of soft and violent contrasts of light and shadow. Oranges, yellows, ochres, and browns predominate, encircled by lines of green or black. Migacz's pictorial universe sensitively translates the expression of human passions through the body.
Janusz Migacz's work is part of prestigious private and corporate collections in Quebec, Poland, London, Paris and the United States.
