Marie-Claude Demers was born in Drummondville in 1970. After earning a bachelor's degree in psychology from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and specializing in childhood studies, Marie-Claude Demers practiced painting for about fifteen years, participating in numerous exhibitions, including several outside the country. Bronze sculpture gradually became part of her career starting in 2000.

Living in his own personal paradise, a century-old house surrounded by mountains in Inverness, this veritable cultural breeding ground is a significant advantage that allows him to put effort and attention to detail into the many manipulations involved in bronze sculpture. The artist has also worked closely with the Inverness Bronze Workshop for several years to produce his works. The foundry team uses a long series of steps to arrive at the final product.

Many projects are underway, always bigger and more ambitious, and the artist is always happy to be able to share them with the public.

The artist's work is currently divided between painting and sculpture. Marie-Claude Demers has created numerous works that have been sold in several art galleries. Her works can be found in various public and private collections around the world.
