Born in 1975 in Cap-à-l'Aigle in Charlevoix, where he still lives, Martin Brisson mixes several materials in his sculptures, which are always for him the starting point of his creations. The energy and beauty of his country fuel his need to create, to transform materials: stones of different geographical origins, recycled metal, wood of various species. An inspired and committed artist, Martin Brisson is an artist who is nourished by his encounters, his travels and the research related to his creation. He is known for his involvement and his interest in leaving his mark on the territory. He has participated in several international events, which allowed him to rub shoulders with his peers and discover the diversity of the world.

While handling the riches that nature provides him, Martin continues his work by advocating that art should become more prominent in cities and villages, gardens, schools, and all everyday spaces. As for his own works, he cherishes the ambition that people recognize themselves in them, that they feel concerned by them, and that they adopt them. His search for harmony of forms and colors cannot therefore be dissociated from that of making his art accessible and unifying.
