"Painting, for me, is the search for current life. What's important is the expression of my characters, what they give off, their emotion, their personality, their current events."

They live today and move forward with me through life. At 20 years old my characters were "flowery", since then they have gone through and are still going through all sorts of stages. They arrived in Montreal at the same time as me in 1979, as a child in 1981, sensuality, happiness, passion, unhappiness, sadness, travels... In fact, painting is the pursuit of life.

The important thing is to move forward and always look further.
